Chippewa County Rural Heritage Meetings

Tom Schindler, President of the Board for Chippewa County Rural Heritage, called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm on Sunday June 27, 2010 at Trout Creek Inn  2170 County Highway A Bloomer, WI.  Members of the board present were: Tom Schindler-President, Tom Short-Treasurer, and Victoria Trinko-Secretary.  Advisory Board:  Lyle Prince.   Other participants- Jana Prince and Earl Hassemer.
Tom Short made a motion to approve and place on file the June 6, 2010 minutes.  Victoria Trinko seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0.  
TREASURER’S REPORT:    Lyle Prince made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Victoria Trinko seconded the motion.  The motion carried 4-0. 
FACE LIFT ON THE NAME-CHIPPEWA COUNTY RURAL HERITAGE:  This item was tabled until the next meeting.  There was a suggestion to keep the same letters but change the words.
LAND PURCHASE:  This item was tabled until the next meeting
LLC:  Jana Prince reported a large amount of data on LLC on the internet and felt a board member should do the research.  Tom Short & Victoria Trinko as board members will look up data about LLC on the internet.
FLIERS:  There will be changes made to the flier and placed on the website.  The newsletter will be updated.  Earl Hassemer talked about the website:  for sponsorships a business card would be a one way to place information on the website; the expansion of metatags; the classified to buy/sell items; establish a web/mail group; and develop a mission statement or goal.

FUTURE ITEMS & AGENDA:

Next meeting will be Sunday July 25, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Valley Tavern
