“Classic Tractor & Implement Club”

Gerald Eder, Vice-President of the Board for Chippewa County Rural Heritage, called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm on Sunday February 28, 2010 at Valley Tavern 14515 State Highway 40 Bloomer, WI. Members of the board present were: Gerald Eder-Vice-President, Tom Short-Treasurer, and Victoria Trinko-Secretary. Advisory Board: David Kelm Sr. [at 7:20 pm], Lyle Prince, and Paul Krumenauer. Other participants- Jana Prince.
Paul Krumenauer made a motion to approve and place on file the January 24, 2010 minutes. Tom Short seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Paul Krumenauer made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report. Lyle Prince seconded the motion. The motion carried 6-0.
HATS, BUTTONS, RIBBONS: The secretary will contact Great World to inquire about the picture and 9th Annual Chippewa County Rural Heritage Days 2010 to be placed on the buttons. Also inquiries will be made about the what is included with the price, lines to say what event on the ribbon, a rosette included in the price and wording of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and participant on the ribbons.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Additional information will be placed on the fliers and 25-30 fliers will be printed. This flier will be placed on the website. A copy will be emailed to Tom Short and Paul Krumenauer. An article will be sent by the secretary advertising the pancake breakfast to the Bloomer Advance with a picture if included without charge. The event will be sent to the Heard about Town-Chippewa Herald. Paul Krumenauer will place the event in the Country Today. Tom Schindler will order the food and supplies. 500 plates will be ordered from Stacy Pecha. The signs painted for our events will be placed one week in advance to the event at the Valley Tavern. Tom Short will check the boards to see if there are signs available.
BUSINESS CARD: Paul Krumenauer will work on the card and place the website address and board members names and numbers on the card. This will be postponed until the next meeting.
SPONSERSHIPS: When the website is more complete, sponsors will be added to the website. We need sponsors for the Spring Event.
SPAGHETTI FEED: Paul Krumenauer provided information on the sponsoring of a spaghetti feed: 100 people-15 lbs. of hamburger, 1 ½ cases of breadsticks, 5 (10 lb.) cans of sauce, parmesan cheese, butter, spaghetti. They served corn with the meal. Lettuce salad could be an accompaniment to the meal. They did not serve mushrooms.
COLFAX TOY SHOW: Gerald Eder talked with exhibitors to encourage their attendance at the Spring Event. He bought toy tractors and swapped a sweatshirt for raffle items.

Tom Short made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:47 pm. David Kelm Sr. seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0.
